Is my practitioner medically qualified?
Yes. All treatments at Dr T Aesthetics are performed by Dr Paulina, a fully qualified doctor registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). Patient safety is our highest priority, and every treatment is carried out using a medical, evidence-based approach.
What happens during my consultation?
Your consultation includes a full facial assessment, discussion of your goals, review of your medical history and a personalised treatment plan. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions before deciding whether to proceed.
Do I have to go ahead with treatment after my consultation?
No. Your consultation is an opportunity to discuss your goals, ask questions and receive personalised advice. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment, and we’ll only recommend treatments that we believe are appropriate for you.
Does treatment hurt?
Most patients find treatment very tolerable. Fine needles and gentle techniques are used to maximise comfort, and many dermal fillers also contain a local anaesthetic to help minimise discomfort.
How long does the appointment take?
Most appointments take between 20 and 45 minutes, depending on the treatment being performed.
When will I see my results?
Some treatments provide immediate improvements, while others develop gradually over the following days or weeks. Your practitioner will explain what to expect during your consultation.
How long do results last?
This depends on the treatment area and product used. Most anti-wrinkle treatments last around 3–4 months, while dermal fillers typically last between 6–18 months.
Will I have a review appointment?
Yes. We offer a complimentary review appointment approximately two weeks after your treatment.
This allows us to assess your results, ensure everything has settled as expected and discuss whether any small adjustments are required to achieve the best possible outcome.
Is there any downtime?
Most patients return to their normal daily activities immediately after treatment. Mild redness, swelling or bruising can occur but usually settles within a few days.

Can treatments be combined?
Yes. Many patients achieve the best results by combining treatments to restore facial balance and maintain a natural appearance. Any recommendations will always be tailored to your individual needs.
What if I’ve had treatment elsewhere?
That’s absolutely fine. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your previous treatments and assess your facial anatomy before recommending the most appropriate approach. If necessary, filler dissolving may be recommended before further treatment.
What if I’m unhappy with previous filler?
If your previous filler was hyaluronic acid-based, it may be possible to dissolve it using hyaluronidase before planning any future treatment.
How old do I need to be for treatment?
You must be 18 years or older to receive aesthetic treatments at Dr T Aesthetics.
Can I have treatment if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. For your safety, we do not perform aesthetic treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
